This notice applies to users of buzzoffsxm services around the world, including users of buzzoffsxm applications, websites, features, or other services.

Passengers: persons who request or receive transportation, including those who receive transportation requested by another person.
Drivers: persons who provide transportation to passengers individually or through partner transportation companies.
Delivery Recipients: people who request or receive food, or other products and services, including those who receive transportation requested by another person.
Deliverers: persons who provide delivery services, including via buzzoffsxm
This notice also governs buzzoffsxm’ other collections of personal data in connection with its services.
For example, we may collect contact information from individuals who use accounts held by buzzoffsxm for Business customers, or from store owners or employees or other merchants; personal data from those who start but do not complete applications to be drivers or delivery personnel; or other personal data related to our technology and mapping features.
All persons subject to this notice are referred to as “users” in this notice.
For Guest Users: Personal data from those who order or receive trips or deliveries via partner websites or apps (such as when ordering from a store or other merchant), or arranged by other account owners (collectively “Guest Users”) is used solely to provide such trips, deliveries or other services requested through a third party, and for purposes of safety and security, customer support, research and development, enabling communication between users and in connection with legal proceedings and requirements, each as described in “How We Use Data” below. Guest User’s personal data may be shared with third parties for these purposes.
This data may be associated with and accessible by the owner of that account. This specifically includes Guest Users who receive errands/deliveries ordered by buzzoffsxm owners or who receive errands or deliveries ordered by friends, family members, or others.
To submit questions, comments, or complaints regarding Guest User Data, or to submit requests regarding Guest User Data.
Our practices are subject to the applicable laws in the locations where we operate. This means that we engage in the practices described in this notice in a particular country or region only as permitted by the laws of those locations. Please contact us or the addresses below if you have any questions about our practices in a particular country or region.
B. Data Controller and Transfer
buzzoffsxm BV and buzzoffsxm Technologies Inc. are the data controllers for personal data collected in connection with the use of buzzoffsxm services in the European Economic Area,
buzzoffsxm Technologies Inc. is the controller of personal data collected in connection with the use of buzzoffsxm services elsewhere.
buzzoffsxm Technologies Inc. is the controller of personal data collected in connection with the use of buzzoffsxm services elsewhere.
buzzoffsxm operates and processes personal data worldwide. We may also transfer such data to countries other than where our users live or use buzzoffsxm services.
Questions, comments, and complaints regarding buzzoffsxm’ data practices may be submitted to us. You may also use this form to submit a question to buzzoffsxm’ Data Protection Officer.
III. Data Collection and Use
A. The Data We Collect
buzzoffsxm collects personal data:
provided by users to buzzoffsxm, such as when creating an account
created while using our services, such as location, application usage, and device data from other sources, such as other users or account owners, business partners, vendors, insurance and financial solution providers, and government authorities
The following personal data is collected by or on behalf of buzzoffsxm:
1. Data provided by users. This includes:
User Profile: We collect data when users create or update their buzzoffsxm accounts. This may include their name, email address, phone number, login name and password, address, profile picture, payment or banking information (including associated payment verification information), driver’s license, and other government identification documents (which may include document numbers as well as birth date, gender, and photo).
This also includes vehicle or insurance information for drivers and delivery personnel, emergency contact information, user settings, and proof of health or ability to provide services using buzzoffsxm applications.
We may use photos submitted by users to verify their identity, such as through facial verification technologies. For more information, please see the section entitled “How We Use Personal Data”.
Background checks and identity verification (drivers and delivery drivers). This may include information such as driver history or criminal record (where permitted by law), license status, known aliases and previous addresses, and right to work. This information may be collected by an authorized vendor on behalf of buzzoffsxm.
We also verify the identity of passengers and delivery recipients who request alcohol delivery.
Demographics: We may collect demographic information about users, including through user surveys. In some countries, we may also receive demographic information about users from third parties.
We may also derive demographic information from other data collected from users. For example, when necessary to enable features that allow women to provide or receive services from other women, we may infer gender using their first name.
In such cases, we allow users to change their gender if necessary through the application settings.
User Content: We collect data submitted by users when they contact buzzoffsxm customer service (including on buzzoffsxm or via video conferencing tools), provide ratings or compliments to other users, stores or merchants, or otherwise contact buzzoffsxm.
This may include comments, photographs, or other recordings collected by users, including audio or video recordings (such as dashcams) submitted by users in connection with customer support. This also includes metadata about the method you use to communicate with buzzoffsxm.
Travel Information: We collect travel itinerary information, including times and dates of upcoming flight, lodging or car rental reservations, from users of our buzzoffsxm
We collect this information: (1) when users manually enter their information into a buzzoffsxm itinerary or (2) if users are authorized to access their Gmail accounts from travel-related email confirmations.
If authorized, buzzoffsxm will only access users’ Gmail accounts to collect travel itinerary information to enable the buzzoffsxm Travel feature, and will abide by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including limitations on the use of data collected from users’ Gmail accounts.
2. Data created while using our services. This includes:
Location data (driver and delivery person): we collect accurate or approximate location data from drivers and delivery persons, including to enable rides and deliveries, to enable ride/delivery tracking and security features, to prevent and detect fraud, and to satisfy conditions.
buzzoffsxm collects this data when the buzzoffsxm application is running in the foreground (application open and on screen) or in the background (application open but not on screen) of the mobile device.
Location Data (riders and delivery recipients). We collect accurate or approximate location data from riders and delivery recipients to enable and improve the use of our apps, including improving pickups, facilitating deliveries, enabling security features and preventing and detecting fraud.

We collect this data from users’ mobile devices if they allow us to do so (see “Choice and Transparency” below for more information on how passengers and delivery recipients can enable location data collection).
buzzoffsxm collects this data from the time a ride or delivery is requested until it is completed (and may indicate such collection via an icon or notification on your mobile device depending on your device’s operating system), and whenever the app runs in the foreground (app open and on screen) of their mobile device.
Passengers and delivery recipients can use buzzoffsxm applications without allowing buzzoffsxm to collect accurate location data from their mobile devices.
However, this may affect the functionality of the buzzoffsxm applications. For example, a user who does not have location data collection enabled will have to manually enter their pickup address. In addition, location data collected from a driver during a trip will be linked to the passenger’s account, even if the passenger has not authorized the collection of location data from their device, including for purposes of receipt generation, customer support, fraud detection, insurance, and litigation.
Transaction Information: We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided, order details, payment transaction information (such as the name and location of a store or merchant and the amount of the transaction), delivery information, the date and time the service was provided, the amount charged, the distance traveled, and the payment method. In addition, if someone uses your promotional code, we may associate your name with that person.
Usage Data: We collect data about how users interact with our services. This includes data such as access dates and times, application features or page views, application crashes and other system activity, and browser type. We may also collect data about third-party sites or services used prior to interacting with our services, which we use for marketing purposes (please see “How We Use Data” below for more information about how we market our services to users).
In some cases, we collect this data via cookies, pixels, beacons and similar tracking technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. To learn more about these technologies, please see our Cookie Notice.
Device Data: We may collect data about the devices used to access our services, including hardware models, device IP address or other unique device identifiers, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, advertising identifiers, device movement data and mobile network data.
Communication Data: We allow users to communicate with each other and with buzzoffsxm via buzzoffsxm’ mobile applications and websites. For example, we allow drivers and passengers, delivery drivers and delivery recipients, to call, text, or send other files to each other (usually without sharing their phone numbers).
To provide this service, buzzoffsxm receives certain data about calls, text messages or other communications, including the date and time of the communications and the content of the communications. buzzoffsxm may also use this data for customer support services (including resolving disputes between users), for security and safety purposes, to improve our services and features, and for analytical purposes.
Security Recordings: In some jurisdictions, and where permitted by law, Users may record audio and/or video of their rides via a feature built into the App or using a dashcam.
In-app recordings are encrypted and stored on users’ devices, and are only shared with buzzoffsxm if submitted to customer support by users in connection with security incidents. Please see here for more information.
3. Data from other sources. These include:
Users participating in our referral programs. For example, when a user refers another person, we receive the personal data of the referred person from that user.
buzzoffsxm account owners who request services for or on behalf of other users, or who allow those users to request or receive services through their accounts. This includes buzzoffsxm for Business account owners.
Users or others providing information in connection with claims or disputes.
buzzoffsxm’ business partners through which users create or access their buzzoffsxm account, such as payment providers, social media services, or applications or websites that use buzzoffsxm’ APIs or whose APIs buzzoffsxm uses.
buzzoffsxm’ business partners in connection with debit or credit cards issued by a financial institution in partnership with buzzoffsxm to the extent specified in the card’s terms and conditions
Vendors who assist us in verifying users’ identity, basic information, and eligibility to work, or who screen users in connection with sanctions, anti-money laundering, or know-your-customer requirements Insurance, vehicle, or financial service providers for drivers and/or delivery drivers.

publicly available sources
marketing service providers or data resellers whose data buzzoffsxm uses for marketing or research purposes law enforcement officials, public health officials, and other government authorities. buzzoffsxm may combine data collected from these sources with other data in its possession.
B. How we use personal information
buzzoffsxm uses personal information to provide reliable and convenient shipping, delivery and other products and services.
We also use this data :
buzzoffsxm does not sell or share users’ personal data with third parties for their direct marketing, except with users’ consent.
We use the personal data we collect to:

buzzoffsxm uses data to provide, customize, maintain and improve our services.
This includes using data to:
enable transportation and delivery services (such as using location data to facilitate a pickup or delivery), features that involve data sharing (such as rate sharing, ETA sharing, ratings and compliments), and accessibility features to make our services easier to use for people with disabilities
track and share the progress of errands or deliveries
create buzzoffsxm travel itineraries and provide related services, such as airport pickups, rental car reservations, or food deliveries
Personalize user accounts. For example, we may present a buzzoffsxm user with personalized store or food recommendations based on their previous orders. Please see the section of this notice entitled “Choice and Openness” for information on how to opt out of this use of personal data.
facilitate insurance, vehicle, billing or financing solutions
perform operations necessary to maintain our services, including fixing software bugs and operational problems; perform data analysis, testing and research; and monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
buzzoffsxm performs the above activities, including the collection and use of location data for the purposes of these activities, on the grounds that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Service or other agreements with users.
2. Safety and Security.
We use Personal Data to help maintain the safety, security and integrity of our Services and Users. This includes:
verifying the identity and eligibility of users to provide transportation or deliveries, including through background checks, where permitted by law, to help prevent the use of our services by unsafe drivers and/or passengers.
In some regions, this includes buzzoffsxm’ real-time identity verification feature, which prompts drivers and delivery personnel to share a selfie before logging in to ensure that the driver or delivery person using the app matches the buzzoffsxm account we have on file.
Where permitted by law, this also includes facial verification of photographs submitted by users or collected from public databases to prevent identity theft or to verify user identity.
Use data from drivers’ or delivery drivers’ devices to detect unsafe driving behaviors such as speeding or sudden braking and acceleration, and to inform them of safer driving practices. We also use data from the delivery drivers’ devices to verify the type of vehicles they used to make deliveries.
Using device, location, user profile, usage and other data to prevent, detect and combat fraud. This includes identifying fraudulent accounts or uses of our services, preventing the use of our services by unauthorized drivers or delivery personnel, verifying the identity of users in connection with certain payment methods, and preventing and combating unauthorized access to users’ accounts.
use user ratings, reported incidents, and other feedback to encourage compliance with our Community Guidelines and as a basis for disabling users with low ratings or who have otherwise violated these guidelines in certain countries
share information about serious driver or delivery safety incidents or compliance with local regulations with third parties, including other companies that allow users to request or provide transportation or delivery services, or intermediaries that collect and report such information for multiple companies, in order to prevent drivers or deliverers who may pose a safety risk to the platform or its users from using buzzoffsxm’ services or those other companies. We may also share with third parties, including those affected by such incidents, if the incidents result in account deactivation.
use ratings, usage, and other data to prevent the matching of passengers and drivers for whom there is a higher risk of conflict (for example, because one user has previously assigned a star to the other).
buzzoffsxm performs the above activities on the grounds that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Service or other agreements with users, and/or for the legitimate safety and security interests of buzzoffsxm or other parties, including users and members of the general public.
3. Customer Support.
buzzoffsxm uses the information we collect (which may include call records) to provide customer support, including investigating and responding to user concerns and monitoring and improving our customer support responses and processes.
4. Research and Development.
We may use personal data for testing, research, analysis, product development and machine learning purposes to improve the user experience. This helps us make our services more convenient and easier to use, improve the safety and security of our services, and develop new services and features.
5. Enabling communications between users.
For example, a driver may send a message or call a passenger to confirm a pickup location, a passenger may contact a driver to retrieve a lost item, or a store or delivery person may call a recipient with order information.

buzzoffsxm performs the above activities on the basis that they are necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under our Terms of Service or other agreements with users.
buzzoffsxm may use personal data to market our services to our users. This includes sending communications to users about buzzoffsxm services, features, promotions, sweepstakes, surveys, polls, news, updates and events. We may do this through a variety of methods, including email, text messages, push notifications, in-app communications and advertisements on third-party platforms.
We may also inform users about products and services offered by buzzoffsxm partners.
For example, we may provide recommendations, promotions or advertisements to buzzoffsxm partners based on users’ past delivery orders. Although we inform users about products and services offered by buzzoffsxm partners, we do not sell or share users’ personal data with these partners or others for direct marketing or advertising purposes, except with users’ consent.
We may use the data we collect, including in combination with data from advertising partners, to customize and improve the marketing communications (including advertisements) we send on and off buzzoffsxm’ applications and websites, based on, among other things, the user’s location, use of buzzoffsxm’ services, and user preferences and settings. For example, we share user data (such as hashed email address, usage information, and device or user IDs) with Facebook and TikTok to personalize and improve our advertisements for buzzoffsxm services.
For information on how to opt out of certain marketing communications (including advertisements) from buzzoffsxm and its advertising partners, please see the section entitled “Marketing Choices.
We may also send users communications regarding elections, ballots, referendums, and other political and notification processes related to our services. For example, buzzoffsxm has notified certain users by e-mail about ballot measures or pending legislation regarding buzzoffsxm services in those users’ areas.
buzzoffsxm performs the above activities on the grounds that they are necessary for buzzoffsxm’ legitimate interests in informing users about buzzoffsxm’ services and features.

7. Non-Commercial Communications.
buzzoffsxm may use personal data to generate and provide users with receipts; notify them of changes to our terms, services or policies; or send other communications that are not for the purpose of marketing buzzoffsxm’ or its partners’ services or products.
8. Legal Proceedings and Requirements.
We may use personal data to investigate or process claims or disputes related to the use of buzzoffsxm services, to satisfy the requirements of applicable laws, regulations, or licenses or operating agreements, or pursuant to legal process or governmental request, including law enforcement.
buzzoffsxm performs the above activities on the basis that they are necessary for buzzoffsxm’ legitimate interests in investigating and responding to claims and disputes relating to the use of buzzoffsxm services and features, and/or necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements.
9. Automated Decision Making
We use personal data to make automated decisions regarding the use of our services. This includes:
enabling dynamic pricing, in which the price of a trip, or delivery charge for buzzoffsxm orders, is determined based on constantly changing factors such as estimated time and distance, planned route, estimated traffic, and the number of passengers and drivers using buzzoffsxm at a given time.
Matching available drivers and delivery personnel with users requesting service. Users can be matched based on availability, proximity, and other factors such as the likelihood of accepting a trip based on their past behavior or preferences. Please see for more information on our matching process.

Some buzzoffsxm services and features require us to share personal data with other users or at the request of a user.
We may also share such data with our affiliates, subsidiaries and partners for legal purposes or in connection with claims or litigation.
buzzoffsxm may share personal data:
1. With other users
This includes sharing:
passengers’ first name, grade, and pick-up and/or drop-off locations with drivers
Passengers’ first names with other passengers during a ride-sharing trip. Carpooling passengers can also see the drop-off location of other passengers.
Delivery recipients’ first name, delivery address, and order information with their delivery driver and store or merchant. We may also share ratings and reviews, or other information to the extent required by law, with the partnering store and the delivery driver.
for drivers and delivery personnel, we may share data with the passenger(s), delivery recipient(s) and stores or merchants, including name and photo; make, model, color, license plate and photo of the vehicle; location (before and during the trip) average rating provided by users; total number of trips; length of time since they signed up to be a driver or delivery person; contact information (if permitted by applicable laws); and the driver or delivery person’s profile, including compliments and other comments submitted by past users.
We also provide passengers and delivery recipients with receipts containing information such as details of amounts charged, the driver’s or delivery person’s first name, a photo and a route map. We also include other information on these receipts if required by law.
For those who participate in the buzzoffsxm referral program, we share certain personal data of referred users, such as the number of trips, with the referring user, to the extent that it is relevant to determining the referral bonus.
2. At the user’s request
This includes sharing data with:
Others at the user’s request. For example, we share a user’s ETA and location with a friend at that user’s request, or a user’s travel information when sharing a fare with a friend.
buzzoffsxm Business Partners. For example, if a user requests a service through a partnership or promotional offer made by a third party, buzzoffsxm may share certain data with those third parties. This may include, for example, other services, platforms, applications, or websites that integrate with our APIs; vehicle suppliers or services; those with an API or service with which we integrate; or buzzoffsxm stores, merchants, or other business partners and their users in connection with promotions, contests, or specialized services.
Emergency Services: We offer features that allow users to share their data with police, fire and ambulance services in the event of an emergency or after certain incidents. For more information, please see the sections below entitled “Choice and Transparency” and “Emergency Data Sharing.
3. With the general public
User questions or comments submitted via public forums such as buzzoffsxm blogs and buzzoffsxm social media pages may be viewed by the public, including any personal data included in a user’s submitted questions or comments.
4. With the buzzoffsxm account owner
If a user requests transportation or places an order using an account owned by another party, we may share their order or travel information, including location data, with the owner of that account. This occurs, for example, when:

We share personal data with our subsidiaries and affiliates to help us provide our services or to perform data processing on our behalf.
For example, buzzoffsxm processes and stores such data in the United States on behalf of its international subsidiaries and affiliates.
6. With buzzoffsxm service providers and business partners
buzzoffsxm provides personal data to suppliers, consultants, marketing partners, research firms and other service providers or business partners. These include:
payment processors and facilitators
background check and identity verification providers
cloud storage providers
Social media companies, including Facebook and TikTok, in connection with buzzoffsxm’ use of their tools in buzzoffsxm’ applications and websites (see Facebook and TikTok’s privacy policies for more information about their data collection and use)
Marketing partners and marketing platform providers, including social network advertising services, ad networks, third-party data providers, and other service providers to reach or better understand our users and measure advertising effectiveness
Third party vehicle suppliers, including fleet and rental partners
7. For legal purposes or in the event of a dispute
buzzoffsxm may share users’ personal data if we believe it is required by law, regulation, license or operating agreement, legal process or governmental request, or where disclosure is otherwise appropriate due to security or similar concerns.

This also includes sharing personal data with others as part of, or during the negotiation of, any merger, sale of business assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business by or into another company.
8. With Consent
buzzoffsxm may share a user’s personal data other than as described in this notice if we notify the user and the user consents to the sharing.
E. Data Retention and Deletion
buzzoffsxm retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
Users may request deletion of their accounts at any time. buzzoffsxm may retain user data after a deletion request due to legal or regulatory requirements or for reasons set forth in this policy.
buzzoffsxm retains user data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. This means that we retain different categories of data for different periods of time depending on the type of data, the category of user to which the data relates, and the purposes for which we collected the data.
Users can request deletion of their account at any time via the Settings > Privacy menus in the buzzoffsxm application or via the buzzoffsxm website (passengers and recipients here; drivers and deliverers here).
Following an account deletion request, buzzoffsxm will delete the user’s account and data unless it is required to be retained due to legal or regulatory requirements, for safety, security and fraud prevention purposes, or due to a problem with the user’s account such as unpaid credit or an unresolved claim or dispute. Because we are subject to legal and regulatory obligations relating to drivers and deliverers, this generally means that we retain their account and data for at least 7 years after a deletion request. For passengers and delivery recipients, their data is generally deleted within 90 days of a deletion request, except where retention is necessary for the above reasons.
IV. Choice and Transparency
buzzoffsxm allows users to access and/or control the data collected by buzzoffsxm, including through
buzzoffsxm also allows users to request access to or copies of their data, changes or updates to their accounts, or deletion of their accounts, or for buzzoffsxm to limit its processing of users’ personal data.
1. Privacy Settings
The Settings > Privacy menu in the buzzoffsxm application allows passengers and delivery recipients to set or update their preferences regarding location data collection and sharing, emergency data sharing, and notifications.
Location Data Collection (Riders and Delivery Recipients)
Riders and delivery recipients can enable/disable buzzoffsxm to collect location data from their mobile devices via their device settings, accessible via the Settings > Privacy > Location menu.
Share live location (riders)
Passengers can enable/disable buzzoffsxm to share their live location data from their mobile devices with their drivers via their device settings, accessible via the Settings > Privacy > Location menu.
Emergency Data Sharing
Passengers can allow buzzoffsxm to share real-time location data from their mobile devices with police, fire and ambulance emergency services. This data can include the approximate location at the time the emergency call was made; the make, model, color and license plate information of the car; the rider’s name and phone number; pick-up and drop-off locations; and the driver’s name.
Passengers can enable/disable this feature via the Settings > Privacy > Location menu or the Security Center.
Drivers and deliverers can also enable/disable emergency data sharing via the app’s Settings > Emergency Data Sharing menu or the Security Toolkit.
Notifications: Account and Trip Updates
buzzoffsxm provides users with trip status notifications and updates related to activity on their account. These notifications are a necessary part of using the buzzoffsxm application and cannot be turned off. However, users can choose the method by which they receive these notifications via the Settings > Privacy menu.
Notifications: Discounts and News
Users can allow buzzoffsxm to send push notifications about buzzoffsxm discounts and news. Push notifications can be enabled or disabled via the Settings > Privacy menus in the buzzoffsxm application.
Shops and Merchant Communications
Users can choose to receive communications from certain stores while placing an order in the buzzoffsxm app. Those who sign up can opt out of receiving such communications via the Settings > Account > Data Sharing menus in the buzzoffsxm application.
2. Device Permissions
Most mobile device platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that apps cannot access without the device owner’s permission, and these platforms have different methods for obtaining this permission. Please check the settings available on your device or consult your provider.
3. In-app review pages
After each trip, drivers and passengers can rate themselves on a scale of 1 to 5. An average of these ratings is associated with a user’s account and is displayed to other users for whom they provide or receive services. For example, driver ratings are available to drivers who request transportation, and driver ratings are available to their passengers.
This two-way system holds everyone accountable for their behavior. Accountability helps create a respectful and safe environment for drivers and riders.
Passengers can see their average rating in the main menu of the buzzoffsxm application.
Drivers can see their average rating after tapping on their profile picture in the buzzoffsxm Driver app.

Marketing Emails and Messages: To opt out of receiving marketing emails from buzzoffsxm, or for instructions on how to set your preferences for receiving marketing SMS or push notifications from buzzoffsxm. We may still send users who have unsubscribed non-promotional communications, such as shopping receipts or account information.

Users can also use our Explore Your Data feature to view an online summary of their account information, such as number of trips or orders, rating, rewards status, and number of days they have been a buzzoffsxm user.
